things going on.
MOM...i got my package, my Uygur family got thier package. EVERYONE is very happy. THANK YOU!Updates.
I have been to Bolovoya... VERY VERY beautiful. I'm teaching a ton. I have 22 classes, each 45 min long. grades 5-11. its very difficult to make lesson plans for so many grades and levels. I just got a room assignment. so I may be able t decorate. For those people wanting to send me things(please send me things i like things) send me anything and everything...i really need things for teaching. paper, markers, construction paper. There really isnt paper in this country so what we use is the back of wallpaper.
The last 2 weekends in a row i've gone to Bolevoy. I went with PCVs Ryan, Brian and Rodney (he lives there...) Bolevoy is like vt with weird rock formations, mtns, lakes, leaves changing...beautiful. Brian brought along his laptop and after dinner we huddled around it and watched braveheart. Today we left Rodney back to Kokshutau and watched a giant parade, about 7000. Kokshutau turns 180. I should post some pics later from the boys.
Another PCV has started a center in Kokshutau that has an amazing amount of resources...english books, TEFL books, movies, dvds, computers...I am meeting with them next week on building websites and how to teach others on building sites.
more to come.
